Why your about page is not actually about you.

Well it kinda is, but not really. Let us explain…

There’s nothing we love better than crafting a good about page. Do you know why?

A great about page can make a sale - it’s that important.

After the Home page the about page is the most frequently visited page. Why? Because we’re all nosy.

We’ve recently written a number of new about pages for clients as part of our done-for-you offer and also continue to edit them for our mentoring clients. It’s our fave piece of content to write.

While the About page is about you, this page is really all about your client or your customer.

It needs to address things about you that your audience wants or needs to know about you.

They need to know how you’re going to make a difference to their life, what problem you’re going to solve and why they can’t live without you.

We’ll let you into a secret, in a nutshell the About page is all about getting your ideal customers to know you, like you and trust you.

So here’s your nudge, take a look at your about page this summer, or even better ask someone else to take a look and ask them if this page gets them to know, like and trust you.
